Red Cross holding health fair on July 26

The Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross is holding a health fair from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26 at the Shreveport Riverview Hall, located at 600 Clyde Fant Parkway.

The event is hosted by Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross, the NSU College of Nursing, Regional Urology & Medic Pharmacy.

Shreveport Little Theatre hosts auditions

The Shreveport Little Theatre Academy will hold auditions for The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman in August.

The Laramie Project is a dramatic work about the reaction to the 1998 murder of a University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming.

Police looking for attempted robbery suspects

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Shreveport detectives need your help finding a pair of would be bandits who attempted to rob a Shreveport convenience store Wednesday night.

Just before midnight, officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Pel-State Fina in the 4400 block of Hilry Huckaby Drive. Witnesses said that two male suspects, both of whom were wearing ski masks and armed with handguns, burst into the business and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint.
