SPAR sets up 'Santa Express' mail service | Arts & Culture

For the fifth year, Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation has joined Santa Claus of the North Pole to help kids get their letters to the big guy directly.

The "Santa Express" mail service is available from November 19 through December 17 to take area children's letters directly to Santa.

Just drop the child's letter (with return address) in one of two "Santa Express" mailbox locations: inside the lobby of Government Plaza downtown anytime between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; at the Bilberry Park Community Center at 1902 Alabama Street anytime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturdays.

Santa will send a personal response letter to each each letter he receives.
