SPAR sets therapeutic winter workshop | Arts & Culture

Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) Therapeutic Division presents its Therapeutic Winter Workshop “Improving Our Health in 2013” from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25 at Princess Park Therapeutic Community Center, 931 Baker Street.

The purpose of workshop is to educate and encourage individuals to eat healthy, exercise and stay fit. The Therapeutic Division’s motto is “Staying Fit and Eating Healthy.” 

Guest speakers will discuss the importance of eating daily a well-balanced meal, including the seven basic food groups.

The workshop is free to the public.
